I created this to help inform people who have little knowledge of diamonds and are looking to buy diamonds. I’ve tried to make the site easy and use layman terms of what you need to know before venturing out to buy and understanding the Terminology and pit falls one may encounter along the way. Hopefully to reduce the stress and cost of your experience.

I have been involved in the diamond and gem industry since 1993. Involved through the diamond chain from grass roots exploration, mining to selling the diamond mine production on the Antwerp market to diamond traders, dealers and manufacturers through to jewellery and final consumer. I am a certified Gemologist and am a member of the Diamond Antwerp Bourse.

 Through my site I want to help you understand a number of elements before you buy a diamond. I explain the basic rules concerning the importance of clarity, cut & shape, carat (weight), certifications and some personal advice I’ve learnt throughout my career.
